Anyways, what I noticed between these 3 big months, talking with boxing. Lots of Pay per view companies will be very busy as well, because they know that many fans will be looking for pay per view links on the fight night. There are some offering free streaming but it’s like watching a fake DVD that people on the fight is not really clear and not appearing as what they really are. That’s the consequence of watching it for free. There are also companies offering HD live streams but very expensive that the price is almost the ticket price. So if that is the case, I think it’s worth it to just buy the tickets and watch the fight right at the boxing ring than spending the same amount and watching it from television.

However, we are offering you the Pacquiao vs Rios live streaming at the cost you can afford and at the service that you will be satisfied. So, here is what you get if you are subscribing from us for the Pacquiao vs Rios Live Streaming.

Pacquiao vs Rios: Brandon Rios all mad at Max Kellerman and whatnot

Brandon Rios has thoughts about Max Kellerman. They don't make a lot of sense, but they're definitely thoughts.
Brandon Rios likes to drop "F-bombs" and he likes to talk and he likes to hear himself talk and he likes to hear himself drop F-bombs, so his latest statement to BoxingScene.com regarding his November 23 fight with Manny Pacquiao makes a lot of sense, at least in that regard.
Max Kellerman must have mentioned something about a possible Pacquiao-Ruslan Provodnikov fight.

HBO PPV Boxing Pacquiao vs.Rios Fight HD Free

"Fuck Max Kellerman, that motherfucker and fuck everybody that's talking about Pacquiao-Ruslan, they're already counting me out! Everybody is counting me out. Everybody thinks I'm a tune up fight for Pacquiao. So Max Kellerman thinks that too so fuck that motherucker. He's always talking shit, saying stuff in my face like ‘Oh Brandon, you're this, this and that. You've won this and that.' He's a fucking pretender. I don't give a fuck if HBO makes you say shit or not, you don't say [that type of] shit. Nobody makes me say shit but me. So at the end of the day that's fucking bullshit."
So let's try to sum this up:
  1. Fuck Max Kellerman. This is a fair enough starting point.
  2. Fuck everybody who's talking about Pacquiao-Provodnikov. I was personally unaware there was an out of control Pacquiao-Provodnikov issue, but OK.
  3. Fuck Max Kellerman (II).

Pacquiao vs Rios: VADA testing has started

Manny Pacquiao and Brandon Rios have started drug testing with VADA, according to Dr. Margaret Goodman.
Manny Pacquiao and Brandon Rios are undergoing VADA drug testing as scheduled, according to a report at RingTV.com, which quotes the organization's founder, Dr. Margaret Goodman.

"I confirm that both fighters have been tested by VADA. The results that we get go directly to the fighter, or to whomever he designates from his camp. They go to the promoter, which is obviously Top Rank, the China Commission, and it goes to the Association of Boxing Commissions," said Goodman.

Pacquiao vs Rios: Manny and Bob Arum talk the fight, drug testing with VADA, Bradley-Marquez, and more

Manny Pacquiao is gearing up for his November 23 fight against Brandon Rios, as training camp continues in the Philippines. In this conference call transcript, Pacquiao and Bob Arum address a variety of fight topics.

Good morning, good afternoon and good evening, depending on what part of the world you are in. It is 10 PM in the evening here in the Philippines and we have had an extraordinary past two days here with Manny Pacquiao at his training camp here in General Santos City. Joining us here today are Fighter of the Decade Manny Pacquiao and Hall of Fame Promoter Bob Arum to talk about what's going on here and what will be coming up on November 23 when we have our historic event in Macau Live on Pay-Per-View between Manny and former world champion Brandon Rios.
BOB ARUM: It is very exciting to be here in General Santos City. The weather is such that we are trying to convince Julio César Chávez Jr. to train here - he would probably make 154 after he trained here. It's wonderful, Manny built his own gym right in his own three-story building next to our hotel and it's a tremendous place to train. In addition to Manny, Zou Shiming is here and we have the Chinese Army training here today with about 70 Chinese newsmen from Mainland China, Macau and Hong Kong. Manny looked terrific and we are getting really pumped up for the big fight on November 23rd. All of The Venetian Macao executives are here and it is really a spectacular event and the buzz here in the Philippines and in China is just enormous. Manny hosted a sumptuous media dinner at his mansion last night.

We now welcome Eight-Time World Champion and Fighter of the Decade Manny Pacquiao.
MANNY PACQUIAO: Thank you everyone, this is Manny Pacquiao and I would like to thank you all for giving me this opportunity to speak to you. My training here in General Santos City is very good and I am getting very excited for the fight. I have been training very hard for this fight and right now I feel like I am 25-years-old and training that way. I feel very good. My stamina and my quickness and power are there and I am very excited about that.

Manny there were over 100 media coming in from Mainland China and Macau - how was that?
MANNY PACQUIAO: I was very excited to have all of the media from China and from Macau. There were a lot of press here and they wanted to interview me and talk about the fight. I was more than happy to find out that they really love boxing.

Rios' Trainer Robert Garcia said you are not as intimidating as you were a few years ago. How do you feel about that?
MANNY PACQUIAO: He tries to say the words that he thinks will anger me but they don't mean much to me. What I have to do it to prove it to them on the night of the fight on November 23rd. I can say the words too, but I have to prove it when we get in the ring.

There has been talk of the drug testing. Has VADA been there to test you?
MANNY PACQUIAO: Yes, I was tested twice so there is no problem.

From what you have heard from Freddie Roach, do you think Manny can be the same intimidating guy that he was?
BOB ARUM: Well, that's what we will see on November 23rd. Manny is training more seriously and harder than any time I have ever seen him. Manny, to me, looks more dedicated than ever and General Santos City is the perfect place for him to train. He concentrates on nothing but his training and I think the Manny Pacquiao you are going to see on November 23rd and going to be perhaps better than the Manny Pacquiao we saw against De La Hoya, Hatton and Cotto.

Are you going to train differently so as to stay out of harm's way after what happened in Márquez fight?
MANNY PACQUIAO: My training for this fight has been unique and my training camp has been very long for this fight. My preparation has been going very well so I think it is going to be an exciting fight. I have given over 100% to my preparation for this fight.

What did you think of the Bradley-Márquez and Mayweather-Alvarez fights?
MANNY PACQUIAO: I didn't watch the fight between Bradley and Márquez but I heard what happened. I had predicted that Bradley would win the fight so I am not surprised at what happened. The fight between Mayweather and Canelo, I know Canelo told the press he would fight like the style of Manny Pacquiao but he didn't do that. Floyd is faster than him and quicker than him so the fight ended different.

Assuming you beat Rios, what will be next?

MANNY PACQUIAO: Right now I am not thinking about the next fight. What I have right now is focus on my training and preparation for Rios so I can be sure that victory is mine.

Can you tell me what you think Rios' strongest weaknesses are?

MANNY PACQUIAO: I can't tell you what his strongest weaknesses are now. It depends on how he prepares for the fight.

Brandon Rios: 'This is not Pacquiao's fight, it's Pacquiao vs Rios'

Stephen Dunn
"If Manny Pacquiao feels he has an advantage, he will change his way of thinking when he feels my punch. But it will be too late because when I'm there and I give him the first punch, I'm going to start doing what I do best. Fight, give it my all, balls out like I always do for my fans. I leave my heart in the ring. There he will realize he did not have the advantage. This is not Pacquiao's fight, it's Pacquaio vs. Rios and I will let the world know that on November 23rd."
Though you've fought twice in Mexico, the majority of your professional fights have been in the US. Why fight in Macau now? Why this point in your career? Do you feel Pacquiao has an advantage?
"When I was first told I was going to fight in Aguascalientes, Mexico against Ricardo Dominguez, I got a bit nervous but I always had that mentality that my dad taught me, I am a fighter and I will fight anywhere no matter whose backyard I am at. With Dominguez I won by split decision which didn't make me popular there but I know I won that fight and there was that chance a judge could be biased. With Dominguez though I won by KO so that proved to them I was the real deal. The fights I had in Mexico were great, because I got the opportunity to beat the hometown guys in their state, in their country in Mexico. Both Ricardo

Dominguez and Daniel Valenzuela were the hometown heroes and I came to their town and beat them. So why not fight in Macau? It's my opportunity on a big stage to fight one of the best, Manny Pacquiao, so of course I'm going to take the opportunity. I really don't care where the fight takes place. I am a fighter, who wants to fight. Remember this, I am not fighting the crowd, I am fighting Manny Pacquiao.
"As far Manny Pacquiao having the advantage, yeah I think he does have the hometown advantage and most of the crowd might be rooting for him, but don't rule me out. When I was in China for the press tour this past summer, I visited Macau, Beijing, Shanghai and Singapore. During that time I noticed I had a lot of fans in China, more than I even imagined. Those who weren't fans became fans during the tour. Not only in China but everywhere I always make time with my fans, in person and through the social media, because at the end of the day, I wouldn't be where I am if it wasn't for my fans. They got me here, my fans and my haters, thanks to them both. So I think they see that I appreciate them and they support me for that reason. I get messages, comments and tweets from my fans in China even fans ordering Bam Bam gear waiting for November to go support me. So I think once that day comes November 23 in Macau, the fans will be divided. Some will support Manny Pacquiao and some will support me.

Manny Pacquiao: 'My legs have an extra bounce to them, I feel strong and fast'

"This has been an excellent training camp. The first six weeks were spent on conditioning and now I am sparring three days a week. It's great to have Master Freddie back in camp with me. This will be my longest training camp. I feel so fresh having taken 10 months off. I have never done that before. My legs have an extra bounce to them and I feel so strong and fast."
The majority of your professional fights have been in the US. Why fight in Macau now? How do you ensure that you knock out Rios and not the other way around?
"This was an exciting opportunity to be a part of the biggest boxing event in a blossoming boxing market. I love meeting new people and this is a big chance for the sport of professional boxing to develop interest in it to one of the biggest untapped markets in the world. It's great for the sport and it gives me a chance to fight near my country where they don't have to spend a lot on travel to see me in action. Plus, it's nice not to suffer from jet lag traveling to a fight. Macau and the Philippines, where I am training, are in the same time zone and have the same climate. I could get used to that!

HBO PPV Boxing Pacquiao vs.Rios Fight HD Free

"It's important for boxing to develop new markets like Macau, China and all of Asia. It's good for boxing to have more good Asian boxers turn pro. Hopefully the more shows we do in China, the more Asian fighters will be encouraged t become professional. I think Macau, with is early success with Zou Shiming, could become a boxing capital.

"I never go looking for the knockout, but you can be sure after getting careless with Juan Manuel Márquez, I won't be setting myself up for getting knocked out. With age comes maturity and with maturity comes patience. I will not rush in looking to knock Rios out but rest assured if the opportunity presents itself I will go for it.
"This has been an excellent training camp. The first six weeks were spent on conditioning and now I am sparring three days a week. It's great to have Master Freddie [Roach] back in camp with me. This will be my longest training camp. I feel so fresh having taken 10 months off. I have never done that before. My legs have an extra bounce to them and I feel so strong and fast.

Brandon Rios: 'I'm ready for the Manny Pacquiao that was dominating the game'

BOB ARUM: Hello everybody, I don't know if it's morning or night but we just got back from the Philippines last night in time for this conference call with Brandon Rios and Robert Garcia. Everyone is pumped and ready to go. The buzz in Asia is just tremendous. Over 70 media members from all over - mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore attended Manny's media day, and now we shift the focus to America with Brandon Rios on this conference call and his media day on Thursday.

BRANDON RIOS: Training camp has been going great. It's awesome. I won't say it been my best training camp ever, but it's been great. Now I am just ready to go out there and do what I've got to do.

Robert, we understand you are leaving for Macau on November 11 to get acclimated, how do you feel it's been going so far?
ROBERT GARCIA: Everything is great. We've had a great training camp with great sparring partners.. We will leave on the 11th and we have everybody - the cook, sparring partners ready to go.

How is preparation for a welterweight fight?
BRANDON RIOS: It is really great. I don't have to kill myself to make 140 or even 135 that I was doing before that. I fell really great and I feel really strong. I don't think the weight will affect me a negative way, I actually think it will help me.

HBO PPV Boxing Pacquiao vs.Rios Fight HD Free

ROBERT GARCIA: You know he seems to be much more comfortable at this weight. Normally three or four weeks out he is usually training to cut the weight and it was hurting his performances in the gym. That seven pounds is not going to hurt him at all. He is going to be stronger and he's going to be faster because he is not cutting weight like he did when he was fighting at 135 or 140. Now the training is on our game plan and how to beat Manny Pacquiao, not on cutting weight, and he will be better for it when he gets in the ring with Manny Pacquiao.

Brandon Rios is preparing for the biggest fight of his live, as he's traveling to Macao on November 23 to face Manny Pacquiao in an HBO pay-per-view main event. Though most feel Rios has no more than a puncher's chance in the matchup, the 27-year-old brawler is training hard in the gym, has Alex Ariza as part of his team, and has been sounding very confident.
Here's Rios working out on the heavy bag and doing some shadow boxing, courtesy our colleagues at Fight Hub TV:

Pacquiao vs Rios video: HBO Face Off with Max Kellerman

This is actually a pretty interesting Face Off, as Manny Pacquiao and Brandon Rios sit down with HBO's Max Kellerman to discuss their November 23 pay-per-view main event in Macao.
Pacquiao, as usual, has a hard time doing the whole tough guy shtick that this format best showcases. Manny's soft-spoken as usual, but there's just a twinge of arrogance to him, too. "He wants to be like me," Pacquiao says, almost dismissively toward Rios. "He wants to do what I've done in boxing."

HBO PPV Boxing Pacquiao vs.Rios Fight HD Free

Rios does his normal stuff, getting a little agitated here and there; agitated by Kellerman's questions, particularly when Max presses him on his being out-boxed by Mike Alvarado and Richar Abril, and also by Pacquiao not taking this all that seriously. The fight is something I'm sure Manny is ready for, but Pacquiao just isn't made for the Face Off set with the manufactured intensity and nervousness. He's just too happy a human being. He's one of Tony Soprano's "happy wanderers."

Brandon Rios: 'Everybody knows I come and fight with my heart and balls'

Brandon Rios discusses what makes him "must-see TV" ahead of his November 23 clash with Manny Pacquiao.

Your name has been attached to some of the most entertaining and impressive fights this year so far. What makes Brandon Rios must-see TV?
"What makes Brandon Rios must see TV? Well everybody already knows how I fight. Everybody knows I come and fight with my heart and balls. I leave it all in the ring and there are no limits. People like that at the fights. The fans already know I will not give them a boring fight, because every single fight I have brought my exciting style of fighting to the ring. There have been fights where the opponent has not let me give the fight I like to give but that doesn't stop me from trying. For example when I fought Anthony Peterson in 2010, I tried giving fans what they paid to go see, but he kept giving me low blows. Even with the low blows though, I still let it go and fought the way I fight. As a matter of fact the low blows just got me angrier and I came back stronger, which I think he realized because he would come back with another one.

HBO PPV Boxing Pacquiao vs.Rios Fight HD Free

"With Richar Abril same thing, I trained for the fight hard, like I always do. Had no respect for him because of the fact he had disrespected me in Florida that same year. So that it just made me train harder and prepare myself well for the fight. When I came in to the ring, and we started fighting I noticed he kept clinching and didn't stop. I tried to change my game plan but it seems like he wanted to slow dance the whole time. Of course I got frustrated because I am used to giving the fans a different kind of fight, not see a slow dance. I can only do so much though, because both opponents need to want to fight in order to give the fans the fight they want to see. He wasn't willing to engage.
"I now train in a way to fight different fighters, not just brawl, because at the end of the day I don't know how my opponents train to fight me. Come November 23 I can guarantee Manny Pacquiao and myself will give the fans the fight of the year. Why? Because Pacquaio has established that he is an elite fighter, I think I have proven throughout my professional career, and especially the last two fights against Mike Alvarado, that I am an exciting fighter. A fighter the fans want to see live.

Manny Pacquiao: 'Maybe' Brandon Rios will survive longer than Ricky Hatton

Manny Pacquiao says that Brandon Rios is a dangerous opponent, but also says he's planning to fight him the same way he did Ricky Hatton -- and that Rios might not last any longer.
Brandon Rios is getting ready for the best Pacquiao ever. How dangerous of an opponent is Rios in your eyes?
"Brandon Rios is an extremely dangerous opponent. He is young, strong and has no quit in him. I raced him up the steps of the Great Wall. He's a competitor.
"I have seen Rios fight and I am confident that I will win the fight. One of my advantages is my experience against better opposition. A more diversified opposition.

HBO PPV Boxing Pacquiao vs.Rios Fight HD Free

"Rios is an aggressive fighter. He likes to fight on the inside and toe-to-toe. He likes to fight, period. It will be a very entertaining fight for the fans. It will be all-action. A real fight and not a track meet. I am 100% confident of winning this fight. The focus of this camp has been on speed and footwork, which have been my advantages in previous successful fights. I'll be more careful to avoid the careless error I made against Márquez

Pacquiao vs Rios preview: Mike Tyson says it's all about Pacquiao's psychological condition

Mike Tyson talks Pacquiao-Rios with Jim Lampley of HBO Sports.
Jim Lampley
"When you see Manny, do you see a guy who's pushing the limit of how far he can go with boxing?"
Mike Tyson
"I think Manny Pacquiao still has a couple of years left in him. He has taken a sensational loss. It's all psychological. If he got beaten up really bad psychologically because of the loss to Marquez, then we have a problem. But if he took it as a bad day at the office, he still can make a lot of noise in boxing."

HBO PPV Boxing Pacquiao vs.Rios Fight HD Free

Jim Lampley
"He's getting ready to fight Brandon Rios, who's probably the most direct, hard charger, coming forward in the sport. Is that an easy fight for Pacquiao to win because he has so much game and Rios really only knows one thing to do?"

Tim Bradley vs. Juan Manuel Marquez: Bob Arum gives buy prediction for the card and Pacquiao - Rios

Top Rank CEO Bob Arum gives his buyrate prediction for the pay-per-view card headlined by Tim Bradley and Juan Manuel Marquez.

Several years ago boxing seemed to have a somewhat big pay-per-view almost every month. Lately, that trend has slowed down and, for the most part, that's a good thing. But here we are getting to the twilight of 2013 and it seems that old times have returned.
Not that it means anything horribly bad. Big fights, the really big ones at least, are always going to be on pay-per-view now. It's just the nature of the beast. If people are willing to pay for it, someone is willing to sell it. But now we are faced with what appears to be the final four months of the year each having its own PPV card.

HBO PPV Boxing Pacquiao vs.Rios Fight HD Free

The first one was the record-shattering card headlined by Floyd Mayweather against Canelo Alvarez in September. It will soon be followed by two Top Rank cards: Tim Bradley/Juan Manuel Marquez this Saturday and Manny Pacquiao/Brandon Rios on November 23. And the final major PPV of the year looks like it could be Adrien Broner squaring off with Marcos Maidana on December 14.
With all of these cards crammed together over this four month period, something is going to take a hit. Obviously, Mayweather/Canelo didn't and became the second biggest PPV in history in terms of buyrate. The success of that event has put a little heat on the others because consumers had to dig deep in their pockets to pay for such a card. That generally means money will be saved elsewhere, putting smaller cards like Marquez/Bradley and Broner/Maidana in difficult situations.

Brandon Rios: 'The way I fight is why I have the wins and fans I have, and the reason I'm facing Pacquiao

Brandon Rios talks about his style, his approach, and whether or not he's letting his first pro loss get to him.

You've had tremendous success as a professional. You fought undefeated for nearly 10 years. You enter this fight in unfamiliar territory after falling to Alvarado. Will you prepare for this fight any differently than you always have? If so, how do you prepare so that you don't completely alter approach as a fighter to the point that you've moved away from what has made you a success?
"I'm going to fight the way I always fight. The only difference is I have to train in a smarter way. I can't train to fight the way I fought with Alvarado and other fighters I have fought. I have to train smart, train to fight Manny Pacquiao. I'm going to train the same way and fight the same way but in a smarter way, because I can't change my style of fighting. I can't change something that has got me where I am now. The way I fight is the reason I have the wins I have, the reason I have the fans I have and the reason I'm fighting the biggest fight in my career on November 23 in Macau, China.

HBO PPV Boxing Pacquiao vs.Rios Fight HD Free

"Falling to Alvarado in Rios vs. Alvarado II didn't affect me at all, what affected me was training to the Alvarado I fought the first time at the Home Depot Center. That's what affected me. I trained to fight hard, yes but to fight the Alvarado I fought before. When I trained for Alvarado the first time on October 13, 2012 I was confident and I was ready 100% for the fight. When I trained for Alvarado second time, I would say I was over confident because I knew I had hurt him the first fight I had already beat him. Therefore I believed I could do it again. That's where I messed up because I didn't really think he was going to change his game. I didn't train for a different Alvarado, I honestly didn't think he was going to change his routine. I trained for the Alvarado I had fought a few months back, that's where I messed up.

Manny Pacquiao: 'Year away makes me appreciate boxing even more'

Manny Pacquiao talks about his preparations for Brandon Rios when the two meet on November 23 in Macao, China.

Similar to your opponent, you enter this fight in unfamiliar position. You are coming off back to back losses--not to mention, to a fighter you've beaten (Marquez) and another some argue you beat (Bradley). How will those experiences prepare you for Rios?
"My two previous fights, though both officially losses, have not had a huge impact on me.
"Though I accept the judges' decision I still do not understand their decision to score the fight against me when I fought Timothy Bradley. I was the aggressor throughout the fight. You can clearly see that by mid-fight, Bradley stopped engaging with me because he couldn't keep up with me and take the punishment I was giving him. So he decided to run from me. If there is a lesson to be learned from that fight I guess it's not to take anything for granted. I thought I won the fight then and I still think I won that fight. If your opponent doesn't want to fight, the judges should also take that into consideration. I never felt that I lost that fight. The media and fans never considered that fight a real loss. Compare those feeling to the reaction Bradley faced from the same people. He certainly did not get treated like a conquering champion. Those are his words not mine. As for me, it did not really affect me and I was eager to move forward.
"For my fourth fight against Juan Manuel Márquez I was determined to end our rivalry with finality. In training camp -- and it was one of my best camps -- I was focused on being able to dominate Márquez from the opening bell. I trained hard in camp to attack him from all angles. And though he had his moments early in the fight, I knew I was beating him as the fight wore on. I felt the momentum coming my way and I was hurting him badly. I could see it and feel it. But I got careless. When I heard the sound that only 10 seconds remained in Round Six I could see he was teetering and I thought I could finish him right then or at least land one more major blow to give him and his trainer one more thing to think about between rounds. But I was reckless...careless...in my attack and Márquez landed the perfect shot. I watched the replay in my suite that night and I knew that I made a major error in a fight that I should have won and was winning. But that's boxing. It was an exciting fight and I have not lost any sleep over it or dwelled on it. It's the nature of the sport and you have to accept it. I was fully prepared and had put in my time in training camp. I didn't cut an corners.

HBO PPV Boxing Pacquiao vs.Rios Fight HD Free

"To prepare for Brandon Rios I began my training camp four weeks earlier than I normally do -- 12 weeks total. The first six weeks were dedicated to conditioning and the last six weeks to boxing. It's not so much what I have learned from the Bradley and Márquez fights that is preparing me for my battle with Rios, it's what I have done in advance of my training camp for the Rios fight, and that is to rest. Taking the longest break of my professional career refreshed me physically and mentally. Though I always enjoy training for a fight, I was more eager than usual for this training camp. I missed boxing. I stayed in shape by playing basketball and volleyball daily and that was refreshing, too, because it gave me a healthy diversion from boxing. But now that I am finally back in the gym I feel like the 25-year-old Manny Pacquiao. Speed, endurance, focus and power are all there. I feel like I'm gliding in the ring. Sometimes I have to look down to see if my feet are even on the ground. I feel great. It has also been the most harmonious training camp I can remember, and that has been a big factor.

Fighter of the Decade MANNY "Pacman" PACQUIAO has subjected himself to the longest and most intense preparation -- 12 weeks -- since 2008 when he moved up two weight classes and scored a TKO victory over Oscar de La Hoya. The dazzling results will be seen on this video of his workout with Hall of Fame trainer Freddie Roach at their Philippines-based training camp. Pacquiao vs. Rios will take place Saturday, November 23 and will be produced and distributed live by HBO Pay-Per-View®, beginning at 9:00 p.m. ET / 6:00 p.m. PT.

Pacquiao vs Rios video: Brandon Rios' Greatest Hits

Brandon Rios (31-1-1, 23 KO) is preparing for the biggest fight of his life when he faces Manny Pacquiao (54-5-2, 38 KO) this coming Saturday night from Macao, China, live on HBO pay-per-view. Here's a video look back at some of Rios' biggest fights to date. I'll add my own comments here, for kicks. For S's and G's.
Brandon Rios DQ-7 Anthony Peterson (Sept. 11, 2010)
Rios' HBO debut showed everyone exactly what Rios can do, as he drew Peterson into a brawl and dropped him in round five. In response, Peterson laid in so many low blows that even Russell Mora had to call for the DQ.

Brandon Rios TKO-5 Omri Lowther (Nov. 13, 2010)
This got moved up to feature on the Pacquiao-Margarito undercard. Rios beat Lowther up as expected. There wasn't much to this one.
Brandon Rios TKO-11 John Murray (Dec. 3, 2011)
Faced with a fellow come-forward brawler, Rios missed weight and didn't look great early, but he wore Murray out over the fight, demolishing him with uppercuts in the trenches, bloodying and stopping the tough Englishman in a pretty entertaining bout.
Brandon Rios TKO-7 Mike Alvarado (Oct. 13, 2012)
Living up to the pre-fight hype, Rios and Alvarado tore into one another in Rios' official move to 140 pounds. Trading back and forth, Alvarado was doing pretty well until Rios clocked him in the sixth round, stopping him in the next frame when referee Pat Russell stepped in.
Mike Alvarado UD-12 Brandon Rios (Mar. 30, 2013)
Not quite as great as the first fight, because this time Alvarado was able to keep his composure and box more, and he proved the better fighter from the outside.
NOT DISCUSSED
Rios won his first world title at lightweight in February 2011, rallying to stop Miguel Acosta, who was handily outboxing the slugger for much of the fight. This was televised by Showtime.

*GFL.TV (LIVE STREAM), 7:30 pm EST, Edgar Santana vs Michael Clark. Vacant NABA light welterweight title fight. Back in 2008 Santana beat Josesito Lopez but had a 3 year layoff afterward and has never won at that level again. The layoff was due to his involvement in an international cocaine trafficking ring...
TyC Sports (ARG), 10:00 pm EST, Luciano Cuello vs Juan Jose Dias.

Saturday, November 23

Polsat Sport (POL), 1:30 pm EST, Damian Jonak vs Kris Carslaw, Pawel Kolodziej vs Prince Anthony Ikeji.
BoxNation (UK) / ARD (DEU), 2:00 pm EST, Yoan Pablo Hernandez vs Alexander Alekseev, Eduard Gutknecht vs Dmitry Sukhotsky, Denis Boytsov vs Alex Leapai. BoxNation isn't so much countering the Froch-Groves card on Sky Box Office as they are just airing the Sauerland card as they always would. Hernandez-Alekseev is a decent main event between a couple top 10-type cruiserweights, and the other two fights could be worse.

AWE / Sky Box Office (UK), 3:00 pm EST, Carl Froch vs George Groves, Scott Quigg vs Diego Oscar Silva, Rocky Fielding vs Lennox Allen, Anthony Joshua vs Hector Alfredo Avila, Luke Campbell vs Michael Isaac Carrero. Froch vs Groves is the second-biggest fight of the weekend and could potentially wind up much more competitive than the biggest bout. The undercard is what it is, basically. Quigg is facing another also-ran in Silva whose record will be fluffed up by Jim Watt and the Boys. BLH will have live coverage.

Pacquiao vs Rios video: Manny Pacquiao's Greatest Hits

Manny Pacquiao returns to the ring in Macao this Saturday night to face Brandon Rios. Here's a look back at some of Manny's biggest fights.

Manny Pacquiao (54-5-2, 38 KO) looks to rebound from back-to-back losses -- one controversial, one definitive -- when he returns to the ring and fights for the first time in Macao, China, this Saturday night on HBO pay-per-view, facing Brandon Rios (31-1-1, 23 KO) in a 12-round welterweight battle
Here's a video look back at some of Pacquiao's biggest performances and fights, with my own comments added for the hoots and guffaws of the world at large.
Manny Pacquiao TKO-11 Marco Antonio Barrera (Nov. 15, 2003)
In terms of presenting a legacy of greatness, this fight is very important. As far as what it means for Saturday's fight, pretty much nothing. This was 10 years, 20 pounds, four weight classes, 20 fights, and 188 rounds ago for Manny Pacquiao. He's transformed about four times since then -- he's gone through a peak and started into a natural decline since this fight. This is about as relevant to the Rios fight as Pacquiao's 1998 win at flyweight over Chatchai Sasakul.
Manny Pacquiao D-12 Juan Manuel Marquez (May 8, 2004)
The first of four meetings in one of the all-time great boxing rivalries. Some believe this was still their best fight. I believe that you can make your case for any one of them as the best fight, really. (My favorite is the second.)
Manny Pacquiao TKO-10 Erik Morales (Jan. 21, 2006)
Pacquiao got revenge for an upset loss to Morales in 2005 with this win, where he became the first man to ever stop the ferocious Mexican legend. The win did lose a little steam, though, since Morales had lost to Zahir Raheem in the interim.

Brandon Rios discusses his amateur career with his father and his pro career with Robert Garcia

Brandon Rios credits his father with shaping the early part of his boxing life, and Robert Garcia's influence in the pro game ahead of Saturday's fight with Manny Pacquiao.

What has Robert Garcia taught you that contributed to your success in the ring that your father didn't? What is the most important lesson Garcia has taught you?
"You know what? You cannot compare Robert Garcia to my dad, Manuel Rios I'm going to tell you why. My Dad did a great job, he got me where I needed to be in the amateurs. He took me very far and honestly he was the best at that job. He took me as far as to have Robert Garcia notice me and take me to the professionals. You cannot compare the two because my dad is my dad and as a trainer he got me very far in my amateur career and at a very young age. Not a lot of trainers let alone dads can do that for young boxers or their sons. My dad did great with me in amateurs and Robert is doing a great job with me in the professionals. Two very different worlds, and different atmospheres.
"I admire and respect my dad for all he did for me and continues to do at Garden City Boxing Club in Kansas, because he continues to create champions and most importantly get kids off the street. How can you not admire that right? My dad did all he could to get me off the streets, sometimes I listened sometimes I didn't. But I will tell you this much, my dad is the reason I even love boxing as much as I do and the reason one day I decided I wanted to fight. Without my Dad I wouldn't of have gotten to meet Robert Garcia and become the fighter I am today.

"As far as Robert Garcia I have a different admiration for him and he taught me at a different level, in a professional level. When I came from Kansas I was basically a kid coming to a whole new world with new people. He flew me from Garden City to Oxnard to train professionally. At that point I started living with my assistant trainer Donald Leary who took me into his home as another family member. Thanks to the training and advising of not only Robert but also Donald I learned to adapt quickly to the professional boxing career. I love the way Robert trains, he trains great professionally I believe my dad made a great choice to hand me over to one of the greatest boxing trainers once I was done with my amateur career.

Manny Pacquiao: 'Freddie Roach has been good for my soul'

Manny Pacquiao reflects warmly on his business relationship and friendship with trainer Freddie Roach.
We know you have a fantastic relationship with Freddie Roach. How much has he meant to you personally & professionally?
"Freddie Roach has meant everything to my professional boxing career and to me personally. I cannot overstate my feelings for him.
"We bonded the first time we ever worked together and that was at Wild Card Boxing Club in 2001. My then-manager brought me to Wild Card looking for someone to hit the mitts with me and Freddie volunteered. After the first round I went back to my corner and said, "I just found my new trainer," and Freddie went back to his corner and said, "I just found my new fighter." We've been a team ever since.
"Our first fight together was when we got a late call to challenge IBF junior featherweight champion Lehlo Ledwaba. We had only worked together four or five weeks and we won our first world title together when I knocked Ledwaba out. If that's not a sign I don't know what is. It was providence.
"My English was not very good back then but we had no problem understanding each other. Our success as a professional team can be read on my resume, but it's our relationship outside the ring which has meant so much more to me.

"At various times Freddie has been a father and a brother to me. When I needed advice or assistance he always came through for me, either personally or by setting me up with the right people. He has been such a big influence on me and he has had a great impact on my life and my career. He gave me the foundation to become the person I am today and if not for Freddie perhaps I would not be able to accomplish the things I have. I am successful and independent because of the years of guidance Freddie has given to me.
